Did you know you can link up your branded business email account with your personal Gmail account?
As a busy business owner, I know that you don’t really have the time to have to dig through a lot of technology-based problems. You need to be able to focus mostly on your business.
This is one of those quick and easy things that you can set up once and pretty much never have to worry about again! The 10 minutes it takes you to set it up will be saved thousands of times over because you won’t have to load two email clients to read your personal and business emails! Also, since most business webmail systems through hosts are really outdated and clunky many business owners prefer to use Gmail anyways and set up brandname@gmail.com instead of using name@brandname.com just to be able to use Gmail’s interface!
If you don’t own your domain yet, BUY IT NOW! Once you have your domain name there is no reason that you should be missing out on the credibility it lends you on business cards, digital marketing platforms, and your in-person business communications!
In the video below I walk you through the steps to get your business email set up to run through your personal Gmail.
1.) Forward your business email to your Gmail inbox
2.) Add “Send as” accounts to Gmail so you can now send an email from your business address within Gmail!
3.) Bonus: Set up a profile picture with your business email icon instead of just the first letter of your name!
